I stayed for hours researching and reading to know what I was going to writeAbout Rita, I did not want something cold, I wanted something that would convey her love for the profession and how much it inspires and motivates people around it, I've known it for 2 or 3 years, I do not remember well. Why did I start #bodybuilding? First of all, because I always loved physical activity and wasn't good in any other sport really. I was way too shy to play sports and much more timid if i had to be competitive and aggressive, like on team sports for example. But I liked to challenge myself. In bodybuilding I found a way to do it every day. Also, I was as skinny as a twig and I was impressed by muscles (my dad has always been pretty muscular and ripped even tho he never entered a gym 💙 he's my idol). When I started training, 19 years ago (geeez...am I getting old?) I didn't have many resources. All I had was some magazines, a #fitness tv show where a lady (#SolangeFrazao my first inspiration) would teach exercises to do at home with a pair of dumbbells. So I bought a pair of dumbbells, some ankle weights, my dad gave me a big iron bar that is used to hold trucks wheels together (hardcore stuff right there lol 😲😬) that i'd put on my back and go in the yard doing lunges. At 18 years old I was accepted in one of the best colleges in Brazil and got a bachelor degree in physical education. Never had a glimpse of a doubt about what profession I wanna have. I wanna learn to improve myself and also help others to reach their goals. I wanna be a #personaltrainer 💪 Now, almost 20 years later, this is still my passion. Every day I look forward to working out. I look forward to eating healthy. I enjoy the company of people that live the same lifestyle. This is my passion. This is what makes me feel alive. ❤ Can you not be motivated? I can not get enough of talking about how amazing her story is!
